Trip to Black Creek Pioneer Village

At noon on July 25th, there was a call from MicroSoft skills centre notifying me that I could go to the linc class the next day. When I came to class, my teacher, Joseph told me the exciting news that we would be going on a field trip to Black Creek Pioneer Village that Friday.

Can you find me and Paul?

Actually, this village is a museum showcasing how farmers lived and what their houses were like about 200 years ago.
This iwas the horse-saddle workshop. You could see the belts and saddles. The guide let us guess why the horses wore the bells. This was because at that time people travelled on horse wagons and when you heard the bells sang, you would know there was a wagon coming and move to the side of the road.
Hey Paul, what are you doing? You do not pay attention to the teacher.

The log cabin was built in the 1860's. How strong the logs are!
This is one of  the children's jobs after their homework. I have tried it, it is hard to deal with the sheep fur by the hangers.

There are many interesting things in this village and I expect to go there again. Paul also said,"what a wonderful trip!"

My first day in Canada

On June 25th, at 3:45 pm, my husband and I and my son landed in Toronto. Although we were tired, you know as, it was 3:45 am in Beijing, everyone had fallen into sweet sleep. We were excited. To my son and me, it was our first trip aboard. Especially for my son, it was his first time taking a plane. Compared to Beijing, there is a clear blue sky and fresh air here, and there are no crowdy people. We do like this city.

At the same time, I have some worries about our future. How is the future? Where is my job? Can my kid adapt to the change? After all, everything is a new beginning and a challenge.

But I have faith that life is better here if I try my best to explore my bright future.
